What Happened to TNT Family Restaurant??

Recent picture from November/2023 with all my Family and Father Spiro with Presbytera (his Wife) Celebrating his 30 years of service to his 3 Parishes.

As many of you might have heard or seen that the TNT Family Restaurant building is now being leased out to a Trifon’s Franchisee.

I would like to first start off by saying how Blessed and Thankful that my Family and I are after receiving so much support from the
Local and Surrounding Community of Swift Current during are 30+years of being in Business with our Greek Family Restaurant. Also, to all of the many Travelers and Workers that supported us from throughout the Country/World during are 30+ years of being in
business. The other important people I would like to extend are Heartfelt Appreciation to are all of our long time staff (many with 20+ years of service). From the waitresses like Bernice Schaitel, Rhonda Hurl, Charise Bull, Mary Ries the many very young hard
working Busing Table staff too many to mention, the Front desk receptionists (Patti, Diana, Faye, The Late Eileen) and dishwashing staff over those years (Sarah, Kim, Francis, Clarence (Smiley) & Brad) as well!

Most importantly and the Main “Wheels of the Bus” so to speak, we’re our devoted, hardworking Cooking Staff. They worked extremely hard to maintain good quality, consistently tasting food. Our Main Cooks were with us for most of the 30 years that TNT existed. The main cooks were Lam and Jenny Lam and Betty Chan. We will be eternally thankful for all their hard work and dedication for most of the 30 years of TNT Family Restaurant being open.

There were so many laughs, serious life experiences that we all shared with each other, be it with our Staff or the many of our devoted clients who were all like our family. These many close friendships and relationship’s that were made with many of our Staff and Customers will be cherished by us for a lifetime.

The decision for me to take this step was definitely not an easy one or planned out one. Having lost all of my long time kitchen staff who had made decisions to move out of town and also retire during the “Covid” days. This made it next to impossible to find that right fit person or persons to replace the ones who were basically irreplaceable. A hard accomplishment to achieve at the best of times, let alone in this day and age with our industry and staffing shortages.

Having Faith is a big part of my life and also my whole families lives as well. I felt that God was maybe telling me this is the time for you to make a change in your life.

You never know unless you try?

Over the years I find God basically in a “Metaphorically Speaking” way has had to take a baseball bat to my head to knock some sense of reasoning into it. I believed he wants me to maybe just take a step back and maybe make a change for the better in my life. I am sure many can attest to having felt the same way, especially over the last few years.

Either way, the step that you take is never going to be a guarantee that it’s the right one. I believe thou that God was and is there for you in the Good times and in Bad times in our lives. As long as we always put him First and always give him the Glory in anything we do, work hard, have faith and trust in his will and I believe it will all work out!

At this time, I would like to introduce you to the Trifons Franchisees Kathan Sevale and Mahesh Maru and their Families. They started operating the Trifons Franchise in
Yorkton for the past 4 + years now. They also decided to expand and establish some roots in the Swift Current and Area by leasing the TNT Family Restaurant building.

They have the experience in operating a Trifons Franchise previous, which is an asset to the operation of a restaurant. They are hardworking people and they all have very
friendly personalities. I hope and believe they will try their best at continuing with the tradition that this restaurant previously had and to keep it going for many years to come.

Since I had to take this step to make a drastic change in the operating of TNT Family Restaurant building. With no help from the “Covid” situation which evolved that eventually was a factor in causing this change to happen. I wanted to give this opportunity for all of are devoted long time customers to use any TNT Family Restaurant Gift Certificates that they might have at the now operating TRIFONS PIZZA!!

For the Month of January (from Jan1st -31st) 2024 I will award anyone who still has TNT Family Restaurant gift cards to be used (in full each time if possible) at the now
open Trifons location.

This is to show my Families Appreciation back to the Swift Current Community at large that has supported my Families business for over the last 30 years!!

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy 2024 New year!!

Also for the year of 2024 to be filled with Faith, Health, Prosperity and to” Love your Neighbor” (in a biblical way not physically) Hahaha and less Hate and more Love for Society with No Wars but just Peace.

May we always Give Glory to God and be Thankful to Him for the Little, Big and all Things we achieve in this life!!

A Big Heartfelt Thank you so much from:
The Late Gus Tsougrianis…. Pete, Nick, Christine, Karen, Marie, Aleni and Gabby Tsougrianis.

Our Family Chain

We didn’t know that morning that God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
